The Fastest Jacks in the West

[April 15, 2008] Baby Jack was born on 12/21/07. At about four weeks of age, Jack's dam either scratched his eye or perforated it with her nail; she also scratched his head quite a bit.
    Jack is a happy, healthy, active Jack Russell puppy. He shows no outward signs of having vision problems. He is very active, runs everywhere without running into things, has great depth perception and is a very affectionate little guy. He was recently seen at Eye Care For Animals and the vet there sees a nice calm eye now. There is no sign of infection or any immediate problem. I have the full report from the vet for anyone interested in this little tan and white sweetheart.
   He has great social skills and bonds quickly with other dogs and new people. Jack will be a great addition to some lucky person's home. if you are interested please contact JRT rescue to fill out an application now.

Who we are:

A group of dedicated Jack Russell Terrier owners who provide recreational activities for these high-energy dogs. Member input is welcomed, and all members are invited to participate in organization, planning and implementing activities for the club. The Rio Grande Jack Russell Terrier Club is truly a club for the members, by the members with the best interests of the Jack Russell Terrier in mind.

What we do:

The Rio Grande Jack Russell Terrier network hosts monthly fun days in the Albuquerque area. Dogs have fun in racing, go to ground and other recreational activities. We are actively involved in helping Jack Russell rescue efforts in New Mexico.

How can I get involved?

It’s easy! No special training is needed for a fun day! We will help your dog become accustomed to the sports. Remember, these are activities that fit naturally with the terrier personality
